Angelababy wore a full-skirted haute couture dress by Dior with organza sleeves and Chantilly lace bouquets that took five months to create and consisted of 115 feet of satin organza, 170 feet of tulle crafted into seven skirt layers, and a 10 foot long train and Angelababy’s sparkling wedding ring, an enormous six-carat diamond from Chaumet, is said to have cost a whopping £1million
Bride choose two diamond tiaras (the Chaumet Curvilinear Tiara made from white gold, diamonds and baroque pearls in the Empire style and the Chaumet Curls Tiara in platinum) and an antique collar necklace with an intricate lattice pattern laid out in diamonds. Regal and graceful, the jewellery complemented the blushing bride and turned her into a modern-day fairy-tale princess.
They had a 2.5 metre cake fashioned to look like a carousel, which is said to have taken a month to make, and the entire venue was decorated with thousands upon thousands of roses to achieve Angelababy’s dream of getting married in a castle, apparently.
And before the big day,the bride and groom posed for portraits in Paris and the images were displayed on screens around the venue. They originally married in private five months ago.
