The Swedish Royal Court announced this morning that Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are expecting a child in April 2016.

The Prince Couple is expecting a child

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are delighted to announce that The Princess is expecting their first child. The birth is expected to take place in April of 2016.

“We are so happy and excited to announce that we are expecting our first child. We are very much looking forward to it,” says Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia.

No changes in the schedule of The Prince Couple’s public engagements are planned during the fall of 2015.

Yesterday, Crown Princess Victoria presented Sustainable Leadership Award 2015 at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm.

The Crown Princess wore a H&M jacket with Valentino bag .

The Swedish Royal Court has released the official photos from the christening of Prince Nicolas .

Also,Princess Madeleine posted a family picture on her Facebook page. She made the statement: “We are so happy and thankful that we had such a lovely christening for Nicolas. Leonore had a lot of fun and Nicolas was a bit overwhelmed!”

Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill attended the christening of their son Prince Nicolas at the Drottningholm Palace Chapel in Stockholm.

The Princess wore a Valentino outfit and Gianvito Rossi shoes.
