Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge on the cover of the British Vogue’s centenary issue
From Kensington Palace:
The National Portrait Gallery has collaborated with British Vogue on a series of photographic portraits of The Duchess of Cambridge.
HRH was delighted to celebrate 100 years of Vogue – a leading champion of British portraiture since 1916.
The images of The Duchess were shot by British photographer Josh Olins in the Norfolk countryside.
A spokesperson for Kate said:
“Vogue has given a platform to some of the most renowned photographers in this country’s history. The Duchess is incredibly grateful to the team at Vogue and the National Portrait Gallery for asking her to take part”.
Two portraits from the shoot were installed at the National Portrait Gallery this evening in the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition.
Kate, who is Patron of the NPG, will visit the exhibition on 4 May to see the images on display in the gallery for the first time.
